ABOUT MADELEINE
Welcome to Lightmyart.com, created by Madeleine Depelteau-Brownrigg who was born in Sainte-Agathe des Monts, Québec. She started painting at 31 years old while working full-time and raising a family. The Lightmyart name and logo design have a registered trademark. Madeleine loves nature, endangered species, beautiful birds and animals. She paints innocent, whimsical art with an impressionist style and wants to give joy through her art. She also wants to raise awareness of endangered species by expressing their fragile beauty. In June 2026, a new collection will start focusing on what we don`t see in humans.
She is inspired by her intuition and wishes to express her creativity with joy and love. Madeleine is focusing on painting what inspires her, drawing inspiration from within. She took drawing at Algonquin College and a course at the Ottawa School of Art. She participated in several painting exhibits in the Ottawa area. Madeleine submitted two paintings for the 4th Annual Animal Portraiture for the Wild Hearts Gallery.
